We’ve been in France now for three days and feel very honored and excited to be here. There are so many great films and everyone shares a love and appreciation of films in general. We attended a screening of the documentary, Trashed, about waste and the worldwide repercussions it has on our environment. We are excited to meet more filmmakers and will be screening at the American Pavilion Emerging Filmmakers Showcase this thursday.
We are pleased to announce that the films reach is now global! We recently received news that Language of the Unheard will be screening at the Cannes Short Film Corner. We are in the midst of making travel plans to Cannes, France for the festival in May. When we first set out to make this project we never dreamed it would take us halfway around the world and we couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity.
Next month, Language of the Unheard will be screening at the Black Hills Film Festival May 6th at 1:00pm. This will be our first official screening in western South Dakota near the Pine Ridge Reservation. Also upcoming is The Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto, Canada this June.
Jac and Matt just got back from The Big Sky Documentary Film Festival which was an amazing experience. There were many well established film makers in attendance as well as many incredible films. Language of the Unheard screened to a sold out crowd of about 120 people. We were paired with an amazing film called Poetry of Resilience and had a great Q&A afterwords. Many people came up to us over the course of the weekend with congratulations and kind words.
That’s right, Language of the Unheard will be screening at The Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in Missoula, Montana. The festival runs February 17-26. Language of the Unheard will be screening in the American Spectrum block. Hope to see you there!
Hey Los Angeles! We’re screening on November 19th at 5pm for FREE. Please come out to watch the film and see us!
